I love when family comes to visit.

John and Arlene came to spend Thanksgiving with us this year and we loved every minute of it.

Hailey's preschool program was a highlight.

Grandpa and John hunted, we relaxed and just loved being together.

Yes, we went out to eat this year for Thanksgiving at the Weber Grill (delicious by the way), but we still managed to make a turkey dinner a few days later.

Arlene helped me wrap all of my presents and put up the tree. And we had a blast introducing the movie Up to Grandpa and Grandma.

My friend's mother-in-law wrote this song. It is my new favorite Christmas song and a
reminder of what is truly important this Christmas season. May we all remember the birth of our Savior, His life, and His atoning sacrifice for each of us.

I am the luckiest person in the entire world today.

Remember my wedding diamond I thought I had lost at Disney world or who knows where else?

Hailey found it.

We had just finished family home evening and Hailey started screaming and crying at the top of her lungs. We asked her to go in another room and cry.

When we let her in she said, "Is this Mom's diamond?"

She found it in our shag carpet in front of our office. The EXACT place I had started to vacuum when John decided he needed to take the vacuum to work.

I think I know who inherits THIS diamond when I die.

The Happiest Place

We weren't planning on spending Halloween at Disneyworld, but thanks to an awesome husband and cheap plane tickets we were able to spend time with John on his business trip to Florida.

Amidst the chaos of losing the diamond out of my wedding ring (sob), Kate peeing on the airport floor and getting a flat tire, we had an absolute blast!!

I didn't want to miss a minute at Disneyworld or Epcot and thanks to a perfect baby sling (thank you Kasi) I nursed while we stood in line for rides (don't worry I was fully covered). Lilly was a perfect baby and we had so much fun!

Just a side note, for those of you who have not had your wedding ring adjusted or inspected by a jeweler lately do it!!!! I don't want anyone losing their diamond!

This is Kate's airport gift shop outfit after her peeing incident (we made her wait just a bit too long). Gotta love the size 8 pink slippers.  It cracked me up when instead of crying she simply said, "I peed like a dog."
