Preschool Pictures

I wish my scanner worked better, the pictures look fuzzy!!! I still remember the day this picture was taken because we had just arrived home from our trip to Utah the night before (2:00 am). We were late to preschool and when I walked in the photographer had already taken the class picture. Hailey's teachers and the photographer were super nice and got all the kids together AGAIN just so Hailey could be in the picture! During this whole process there was a little girl throwing up in a garbage can (top left, bright blue shirt).

Hailey loves this horse picture. She says she looks like Mary Poppins!

Bella Bath

Just a quick picture of Bella hopping in the bath with the girls. I've never been a huge dog (or animal) person, but Bella has been a super cute, fun puppy.  I think what I like about her the most is that she doesn't shed,  (and I am seriously allergic). I also like that I don't have to take care of her (John does that!)

Family Home Evening

I always enjoy Family Home Evening, no matter how crazy the kids get. I look forward to Monday nights when we can all be together, sing songs, and share a quick (and I do mean quick) lesson about how we can be more like Christ. I especially love my magnet/dry erase board made by my amazing sister-in-law Rebecca.
The Friend magazine is always loaded with fun ideas and stories. I was reading this story about a yellow dress in this month's Friend that I knew my girls could really relate to so I shared it with the family. After the lesson and prayer we asked Hailey if she would be willing to give one of her dresses to someone that needed it more than she did. Her response was, "Nooooo, I need my dresses!"  I thought that maybe it was asking a lot from a three year old until the next day out of the blue she went straight to her Daddy with her nice Gap dress no less and said, "I want to give this dress to a little girl."
Lesson learned....

Trick or Treat

No big surprise that the girls were Belle and Snow White for Halloween. Cute Gracie was the Tooth Fairy. Thanks again Grandma Heiner for the costumes, and to Nana Rigby for the darling princess coats!! We had so much fun at our neighbor's home for a chili dinner and then off to trick or treat!

 Check out this pirate hottie!
