I never thought a 16 hour drive with three kids would ever work, but amazingly we had a blast!

Toys from the dollar store wrapped in princess paper.
Call it lame or lazy rewarding kids for being whiny, but it worked wonders.
Oh yes, and Bella came along too.
Kate loved her toilet paper roll binoculars more than anything else.
Hailey of course enjoyed cutting and coloring.

We had so much fun and can't wait to visit again. Thanks again Jess and Gio. Thank you John and Cheetah for letting us stay at the cottage, and thank you John and Arlene for spending time with us! We love you all!

What a fun trip! I love Jess's surprised look that her parents surprised her. Those are the best moments! Her girls are beautiful! How fun for your girls to have cousins the same age. Glad that the 16 hour trip went well. Those are great ideas. I'll have to remember them for our next road trip.
